• Lesson Structure

  • Lessons are a $200 monthly tuition (a significant discount from the $60 rate)

  • This reserves 4-5 lessons/month at a specific, set, weekly time with the instructor and horse.

  • You are purchasing a block of time within an instructor’s schedule - not lesson vouchers.

  • New lessons begin as 30 minute private lessons, with a 1:1 student teacher ratio.

  • We ride year round in our covered arena.

  • Makeup lesson policy:

    • 24 hour cancellation must be given for a lesson to be eligible

    • 1 makeup lesson per quarter per student maximum

    • makeup lesson date and time determined by instructor - usually a weekend

    • lessons not held because of severe weather or holiday are not eligible for makeups

  • Upon instructor approval, student can graduate to:

    • semi-private - 45 minutes 2-3 students per 1 instructor

    • group - 60 minutes 4-6 students per 1 instructor

  • NO WALK UPS PLEASE. An evaluation lesson is a great way to see the facility and find out if good fit

  • Instructor will confirm lesson day and time availability

  • Send your payment through Venmo to Margaret Blanche@Margaret-Blanche, Do not send goods and services - it will charge a fee on my end. We cannot accept checks or cash.

  • As soon as Venmo is completed spot will be reserved

• FIRST LESSON

  • No pets! This is a working farm with guard dogs and livestock. Strange animals are a huge disruption.

  • Do not chase or pick up any livestock or poultry - especially baby and mamas.

  • Print RELEASE SHEET, Read carefully, fill out, bring to first lesson.

  • Wear long pants, boots, and bring your helmet. We can supply helmet if needed.

  • One vehicle per family, no parking on lawn.

  • Arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment

  • Park in gravel lot by fence, and enter at designated visitor gate, go to arena waiting area.

  • Parents - please sit in the fenced in waiting area. standing by the fence can startle the horses and distracts the instructor.

• POLICIES

  • Riding lessons must be paid prior to first lesson of month - If no payment received, the space will be offered up to riders on the waiting list.

  • If a rider is late to a lesson, they are able to ride until end of their lesson time but not beyond.

  • No lessons New Years, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day. Lessons on these days are not eligible for makeup
